THE FIRM is nearly here!

THE FIRM arrives Friday 18th September at all major cinemas
Nick Love has been a cult director with much loved films Outlaw, Football Factory and The Business winning him many fans and some considerable Dvd success. With associations with casuals and football and already two popular films that embrace this audience, The Firm is showing Nick Love at another level and already fuelling a major casual revival that he single handely started back in 2006 when Danny Dyer and Tamer Hussan brought back much adoration for Fila Terrindas and Fila Settanta Mk1s and Mcenroe's Sergio Tacchini Navy and sky Dallas track tops in The Business.
There will be no doubt that this film shows the greatest portrayal of clothing of the time for casuals of the day. Nick Love elsewhere has suggested it’s his memories of being a casual in London and its clear each area had its own casual fashion agendas. However there is more than enough to convince any 80s casual connoisseur of the era that was, with a major thumbs up already from the North on 80s Casuals site. With 100s of Casuals in the film in various 80s splendour. Sergio Tacchini arrives with Dallas in White ( the new England supporters strip) and the tasty boy about town royal dallas. A new showing for Sergio Tacchini split star in both white/yellow and white/sky with the biker terrinda style collar and full funnel neck both key 80s tops back re available

Fila Terrinda arrives back on the scene in the more standout colour of Red and forms a key part of the story along with Navy French Blue and White.

Anyone concerned as to Nick Love taking a cult classic simply needs to see the Film and appreciate it for what it is The Firm is undoubtedly Nicks own film and loosely adapted from the cult like Allan Clarke short film made in 1989. Nick Love's film is set earlier in The 80s and retells a similar story to the original - but from another character point of view. The film centres on Dom a young wannabe casual drawn into the world of top boy Bex and The Firm. Dom gets accepted into The Firm and soon becomes one of the boys. As Bex and his boys clash with rival fans across the country and violence spirals out of control, Dom realises he wants out- but it’s not that easy.
Nick Loves film celebrates a more colourful way of life and the high’s and low’s of young casuals who adore their Sergio Tacchini and Fila with a particular liking for the Fila Terrinda. As ever Nick Love has added his usual humour you would expect in a Nick Love film and some major put downs. The original had its far share of one liner’s and as you can imagine Nick Love is not short of his own with much London speak of the time. With the film set early 80s, we are reminded of Blue Peters Joey Deacon, Mad Lizzie, Michael Jackson jackets and the trademark great soundtrack that could launch an 80s club scene revival.

My best mate had the Fila Navy Grey and Lemon yellow track top and we thought he was the dogs the day he came home in it, I had bought a full outfit of Farah, roll neck and knit to his Fila but kind of new he was going to get all the attention come the weekend. The Navy / cream / red Fila featured at the top is back with full funnel terrace neck called tie break available at www.80scasualclassics.co.uk 80’s Casual Classics were key collectors and contributors assisting Nick Love with the wardrobe for The Firm with much research and late nights and a whole load of collector’s product. Feedback from key faces have found the product “SPOT ON”. The Business was a centre court show of vintage 80s Tennis, Sergio Tacchini, Fila and Ellesse; primarily Danny Dyer.
